Mr. Simcox,
I have thought about this letter for weeks.
I have mixed emotions about putting on paper what to me are several personal affronts. They began in late March or early April, about the time we were working on the Comms towers. You told me I was going to be your state operations officer. The next thing I knew I did not have a job for the April muster.
The following are a list of lies and inconsistency’s and untruths.
It was decided last October that no line leader would work the 5 to midnight shift for a month. Fine that was different and then, with your consent, Larry Law did the entire month. I found myself left with being the “Camp Commandant” a laughable title and job description. Designed, I believe, to push me out the door and it worked. I left Three Points because I was fed up with the way I was being treated and played for a fool.
You told some mm that I intended to destroy camp morale. That was a lie. I didn’t know anything about the petition. I did not mislead those around the camp. I spoke to no one about what was happening as I left. They couldn’t get their questions answered. The only response they got from leadership was we can’t discuss it. IT COMES FROM HIGHER UP. It comes from higher up. You were reaching someone to blame and that was me.
As for Stacy and I creating a premeditated orchestrated fiasco. BULL.
All Stacy was trying to do was find out why I was being pushed out of the actual operation. I was NEVER told I was not to take out a line as a Line Leader, or to have any involvement with the MM in the field. You told at least two people that I went to the Washington Times and made statements about the moneys donated to MCDC. It never happened. That’s a lie. Why didn’t you ask me about it? I would like to see your proof.
Next, the patches, you agreed on a conference call with state and other leaders that my patch would be the patch for MCDC, you also made the agreement with Rick Lowell about the dollar split.
You have stated that I was guilty of “egregious behaviors” and “manipulating emotions”. I don’t know what you are talking about. That s a lie. You told people that you had,” a sit down” with me and you spoke to me about my actions as a line leader. That never happened, another lie.
You told a MM that I was to be the one to take out anyone who wanted to see the big lay up, but because I left there was no one else to do it. That was not my job. Another lie.
I asked you numerous times about some of the changes to the SOP. The reason I asked was because I was being asked by many of the rank and file. Then to shut me up (I guess), you told me it was done. At the time, that was a lie. Several days after you told me it was done Lance told me that he still had to submit the version of the SOP you had asked him to complete. You said you were going to do it yourself. Another lie.
It was brought to my attention by several other mm that you tried to reach me by phone to discuss this matter of leaving three points. I have had my cell phone on 24 hrs a day this last month—waiting for your call. Just another lie.
The e-mails to the group concerning the May19 meeting were confusing and contradictory to say the least. First, it was a bad timing because you had meetings set up with other ranchers for that weekend at Three Points. Then you said you would be in Arizona but it was an unauthorized meeting, and you would not attend. Then you said you were still out of town and the group had planned the meeting on that day to make you look bad. We did not, that was a lie.
Lastly, the cancellation of the May muster. You told the S&R teams that MCDC could not be on the ranch that weekend because the ACLU was in a lawsuit with the Kings ranch. Not true, we talked with Pat King. That was a lie.
I did not resign, I was supposed to be terminated with the rest—now I can come back? If I call and speak to one of your National members. I think it was the e-mail about your knowledge of the deadline on Friday for your response. Saying you didn’t know it is a lie. Carmen or Al or your snitch would have contacted you. At this point you have nothing to offer. As the animosity from Gene, Lance and you would make it difficult for me to work on the border. And that’s all I ever wanted to do. You owe the Minuteman Corps and the Magnificent 20 so much that you should hang your head in shame. As they and we are MCDC not you.
The thing about a lie is you have to remember what you said; the truth is always the same.
