Chris,

I am requesting that you attend the meeting on May 19, 2007 at the Clarion Motel.  In my opinion it is critical that you attend so we can sit down and discuss issues at hand and leave with resolutions.

I am dedicated to MCDC because I believe in what we are doing to protect our country and preserve our heritage for our children and grandchildren. I also have the highest respect for you and that is why I want to sit down with you so we can have open communication.  Communication is the key to resolve any areas that need improvement, but it does take two or more to communicate.

I do expect to see you on the 19th.

Mike,
This is an unfortunate situation -Bob Wright never had the authority, or the permission to arrange a meeting. He did so without properly and respectfully notifying any one of us at national. We have been planning a meeting like this for some time and the dates were to be announced in a few weeks -Bob went ahead with his alternate meeting -not a wise decision. Our later meeting is to include accommodations and travel subsidies for the attendees and we have a new program to share, brochures, training and educational DVDs, etc. Also, as for Bob's meeting, I am still not certain I will have returned from my trip as I may just stop in Tucson
first to attend the weekend operation; I have committed to the weekend operation to assess new technology. Let it be said that your complaints should be directed at Bob -he led you to believe this meeting was organized with everyone on the same page  -not true. You should see if you can put your plane ticket on hold until we announce an official meeting coming soon.

P.S. Also whatever issues you feel need improvement should be submitted in writing so we can enter the meeting with a complete agenda -I feel many of the issues you may have and or have been directed at you by Bob are already being resolved and reworked.

Carmen, I just got home and have not had a chance to respond to the letter I received and in addition this letter is not signed by an appointing authority of MCDC.  I will be on Phoenix on Saturday for this meeting and I have no intentions to resign due to I have done nothing to resign for.

Sincerely,

Michael Forest

Subject: Our sincere thanks for your service and regrets at your resignation

Thank you for your prompt response to the subject of the letter, “Unauthorized State Directors Meeting in Phoenix, AZ 5/19/2007.”  We offer our sincere thanks for your service, dedication and sacrifice to the goals and mission of MCDC.  You have helped make the issue of the illegal alien invasion a national concern.   We regret that you have chosen to resign your MCDC affiliation as a volunteer and state leader and wish you well in the future.

We accept your resignation.  However, even at this late date should you want to apply for reinstatement to MCDC please contact any of the members of the Board of Directors or the Executive Director, listed below. Should the Board agree to your reinstatement, we will absorb travel expenses for those who elect to join us for a future meeting of leadership in good standing designed to advance MCDC goals, express your concerns, and voice your opinions, to be held at a time, date and location that is mutually agreed upon by those who choose to attend this MCDC event.

If you have any questions or would like to discuss this matter further, do not hesitate to contact any of the members of the Board of Directors or the Executive Director, listed below.

With the U.S. Senate trying to force amnesty on America, there is still much to do.
MCDC continues to lead the charge and activate millions of Americans to demand real border security, and to keep our President, Chertoff and the Commerce Secretary from joining with open border Senators and cutting deals in smoke-filled back rooms to give AMENSTY to 12 million illegal alien intruders to our nation!

It is now more important than ever that we keep our focus on the MCDC mission, and make our phone calls and send our faxes and e-mails to all of our elected officials in the government.  They need to know that this bill will just increase illegal immigration, and that instead we expect them to do their duty and secure our nation by building fence and increasing border security and enforcement.

Sincerely,

Minuteman Civil Defense Corps
Chris Simcox, President ・MCDC Board Chairman
Carmen Mercer, Vice President ・MCDC Board Member
John Acer, Secretary ・MCDC Board Member
Al Garza, Executive Director

Mr. Kunz, I would strongly suggest you contact Carmen Mercer due to you are telling people something that is not true.

My email to Carmen stated I would not resign and I did not resign.  Please take time to get your facts correct and I will be looking for your email to correct your misstatement immediately.

Please contact me if you have any questions or concerns.

Mike -- The decision makers at MCDC are the MCDC board and the MCDC national leadership team.  I reviewed the list of those who resigned with Carmen and your name was included and Diener performed a service for MCDC to send out the emails.  You will need to discuss this with Carmen. -- Peter

Mr. Kunz, no disrespect intended, you sent the email and since it is incorrect you need to check, not me.  I do not now or ever play that game.

Mike,
Please don't shoot the messenger -the email was sent to you and only you, Mr. Kunz has not told anyone else anything about your situation outside of the people named in the communication email and no one else is privy to the circumstances other than the board and the individuals involved. If someone else is aware of your situation it is the result of the cabal involved who have disseminated sensitive internal communications and information -not Mr. Kunz nor anyone on the board or national leadership. I left a message on your voice mail today encouraging a dialog with you to resolve the issue. I will attempt to contact you again tomorrow in order to sort out how you stand on these issues and to address the ultimatum that has been circulated by Bob Wright all over the internet. I find it interesting and telling that I have yet to have officially received the aforementioned ultimatum - I had to learn of it through a third party. Once this is resolved and your position with the organization is determined there will be no need to inform anyone about anything other than Mike Forrest continues as the Oregon State Director of MCDC.

Mike,
I also want to inform you that even with pushing my family like a mule train it was still only possible for me to make it back to Phoenix by 11 pm on Saturday night. The meeting that was "arranged" was set up so that there was no way I could attend -that was purposefully done to create the illusion that I would not attend the meeting.
New meetings will be arranged and scheduled during the coming weeks -you are welcome to attend as I think you will learn that you have been misled and ill-informed by the so-called as your quote states "not a better group of men to stand with".
I hope to hear from you soon.

Chris,

Let me state that I believe in MCDC and I support it with everything I have because I care about the mission we are doing. By not attending the meeting on May 19, 2007 and not allowing Carmen to attend and Al refusing to attend you all have set the stage that has happened to date.  There was no hidden agenda only a willingness to sit down with you and talk so MCDC could have be a greater force in our mission. Let me be clear, a phone call will not clear this up and you definitely need to call the meeting for face to face conversation with everyone who is on the list so we can have dialogue to resolve the issues at hand by May 25, 2007 as stated.

By quoting me in the email below someone is feeding you these emails and in my opinion is a lowlife and has no integrity, honor, self respect, or the cajones to stand up and take responsibility for these actions. And I pray for myself that I don't find out who this is.  They better pray I don't find out.

I do stand by my statement below that "there is not a better group of men to stand with".

I look forward to our meeting.
